Description

This Honeywell MS9520 Voyager barcode reader is black, can be held by hand or mounted in a stand, has a laser and a USB cable to connect to the host system, and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D) barcodes. Users can hold the barcode scanner by the handle for handheld use, or they can place the barcode reader in the provided stand for fixed position use. A 650 nanometer (nm), 825 milliwatt (mW) laser produces a single line of light to scan the barcode. A trigger automatically activates the laser when a barcode is placed within range of the device’s infrared (IR) sensor. The barcode reader’s USB cable can be plugged into the USB port of a computer or another host system (not included) to transmit barcode data. A configuration utility allows the firmware to be updated as needed. This barcode reader weighs 149 g (5.25 oz.) and measures 198 x 78 x 40 mm/7.8 x 3.1 x 1.6 inches (L x W x D).
