Description

Innovating Science chemistry demo kit is used for demonstrating electrophoresis. The kit has agarose gel and dyes for visual tracking of molecular movement and separation during the electrophoresis process, and materials for running ten 20.0mL agarose gels (number of gels may vary depending on equipment used). The kit includes a teacher’s manual and student study guide copymasters for instructional use, and a material safety data sheet (MSDS) packet for product information and handling procedures. The kit requires agarose electrophoresis chambers, electrophoresis power supplies, and micropipettes (10μl) (sold separately). The kit is suitable for age 13 and older with adult supervision, and is not subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) shipping restrictions.
